Summer is quickly approaching and times are booking fast- Saturdays are booked out till almost July with only a few June spots left and I just put my first due date for DECEMBER on the schedule! Shooting in the new studio has continued to be amazing!! I love the huge amount of space I have, which of course had led me to buying even MORE props and backgrounds. Never can have too many! Now I’ll share some more of the cuties that have been in recently.

Noah and Honor- it was so fun to see them back in the studio- it is just amazing how one short year can change someone so much! They were full of personality and spunk. We had a good time.

Miss Emily, can you really be 18 months old already? It seems like yesterday we were doing your mommy’s maternity photos! You were such a gorgeous newborn, and you are still a beautiful toddler keeping all those goldilocks. Your smile melts many hearts!!

Declan, another one of my Watch Me Grow members, came in for his TWO year photos. Such a handsome little man. He gave me smiles too, but I’m a sucker for these shots that showcase those amazing lashes! Why do boys always get them??

Ayla- a beautiful name for a beautiful girl! She knew what she did and didn’t like from the beginning, and once she set us all straight- slept like a dream. Congrats T & J!! She is such a sweetie, and it was an honor to be a part of this special time in your lives.

The H family came in to update their family photos. Are they not just a stunning family???  We had a great time and got so many shots I love, but this family one is one of my favorites.

And ending this post with another sweet little miracle. Meet Dawson, just a week new. He was just a ball of squishiness and so fun to photograph. I loved that mom couldn’t wait to put him in a bucket. I have many of those around!! We decided on the wood bowl, and he seemed to like our choice by relaxing right in it. Congratulations F family!!!

4 month Jacob might have the most gorgeous set of blue eyes I have ever seen. He is such a honey to photograph!!

Pierce, just a few weeks old here, was awesome for his newborn session! Look below to see how much his big sisters loved him!! Congrats T Family!!!

I just love this photo- all of the family glancing lovingly at the newest member, Wyatt. He was just beautiful and easy to photograph. So nice meeting you N family and congrats once again!

I love one year olds. They have such great personalities and come in to the studio ready to take on the world! Vincent was showing off his “so big” in this photo- completely adorable with little tie. Happy birthday little man!

Miss Jasmine came in at  4 weeks old, a bit older than I like my newborns, but with some coaxing fell into a good deep sleep for me and we had fun playing. I just love this vintage stroller I have- made complete with a sleeping newborn inside.

Pregnancy- such an exciting time, especially when it is your first! I have actually got to meet the baby girl inside mom’s belly just this week, and those photos will have to be on another post.

2 week old Harper came up from Owatonna with her family to meet me. She was just beautiful and fun to photograph as well. Nothing like a snuggly wrapped baby to make you smile.

Here it is- the sibling photo I mentioned above. He is one loved little brother!!

And finally to end with another expecting couple. Their baby I have not met but it should be soon! I love getting those emails that baby has arrived. Good luck C Family!

One week old Raphael with big brother Sebastian- are they too darn cute or what?  It was such a pleasure photographing these two.

  And  I will finish this post off with yet another adorable miracle I got to photograph recently. Oliver- just days new. Congrats K family!!

Reid, just one week new,  was a delight to photograph. His big sister, Lyla, has spent a lot of time in my studio over the past 3 years, and it was a delight to watch her excitement over her  new little brother. Congrats M family- he is beautiful!!

These three brothers were all SO different from one another. It was fun to get to know them individually, and I love this shot of all of them together.

Sweet lil’ Alexis is proving to be just as photogenic as her big sister, Sydney. Already smilin’ for the camera at just 10 days old- love it!!

And finally I will end this share with one year old Maya- a fun baby girl I’ve had the pleasure of photographing ever since she was in mom’s tummy! Happy first birthday!!!

Another sweet newborn for me to photograph- Kathryn Rose. She was so pretty and had this amazing thick dark hair. A few to share- I really love the sibling shot- it looks like Kathryn’s expression is like- what the heck did I get myself into?

Ryan, who at 4 months, is growing like a weed! I swear I just did his newborn session. Where does time go?? Another adorable baby with huge baby blues.

  And my last to share is miss Emma- a sassy and sweet 1 year old who was full of smiles for me. Happy first birthday sweet baby girl! It has been awesome watching you grow this first year!

‘Tis the season- only 10 short days until Christmas Eve, can you believe it? I can’t really. It’s not that I’m not ready- it’s just that is was raining today in MN. How weird is that?? 

So it has been ages and ages since I’ve blogged- not due to lack of subjects to blog about- quite the opposite in fact. This is the crazy time of year for most photographers, and combined with the studio finishing up (yes, you read that right!!!) I have been swamped. So.. the question I get asked about a dozen times a week- when will the new place be open??? And the answer is- in a few weeks!!! YAY!!! Flooring gets laid next week and then final inspections, and then the huge process of moving my lifetime supply of props, equipment, etc. into the new place. I plan to be shooting there full time come January with the grand openening party near the end of the month to give me time to get the new prints on the walls, etc. Look for more information coming about that- it is going to be a FUN time!!!

So here are just a handful of cuties that have been in recently. I am going to try to get more up tomorrow as I know not all of you are on facebook which is where I’m more likely to update, although to be honest I haven’t done much of that lately either! I’m not complaining- I love being busy and am so excited to see what 2012 brings. I think it is going to be fabulous!!

First off, miss sweet Alexis- just 7 days new. Her little smirk kills me- how cute is that?

Next is 8 month old Eli- he had the most beautiful blue eyes and such a handsome lil’ man he was. I love this age!

The Walter Family- I am so  honored this family drove about 3 hours to see me for a session. Thank you guys!! It is so fun to know a family for years and watch the changes as their children grow. I cannot believe how big Carter and Ashley are now. Time goes fast!

And finally I will end with another adorable lil’ miracle. Meet Ashton- so super sweet- she barely made a peep the entire session.   I love the eye contact she gave me on the second one.
